A great Bedouin Bakelite necklace from the Mid Century newly strung with metal beads and vintage chiseled drum shaped butterscotch phenolic resin beads. The beads test positive for bakelite with simichrome and have a lovely patina. The necklace ends with a large sterling spring jump ring closure. It is in good vintage condition, however some of the beads have charring, I'm guessing from traders who have tested it for amber. The charring however is generally in unobtrusive areas, so will not be noticed when worn.
